A grey panel that draws itself as you scroll — and goes blank when you shake the phone. Two knobs. Aluminium powder. No backlight.
Tip: on a phone, shake hard once. On a desk, press Clear or hit C.

How the panel works

Scroll to draw
Each line waits undrawn until it enters the screen. The stylus is your scroll thumb.

Shake to clear
A real shake (or the Clear knob) flashes the ink, then returns the aluminium powder. Empty. Ready.

Redraw
After a wipe, keep scrolling — the same lines draw again from the top of the panel.

Notes
Why does my phone ask for motion access?
Shake-to-clear uses the device motion sensors. On iOS it needs a tap first (use Enable shake or the Clear knob). If you decline, Clear still works — only the physical shake is off.
Is this a classic two-knob drawing toy?
No. Knurl is our own panel, milled in the same workshop that fills it. The childhood muscle memory is the point — scroll draws, shake clears — but the shell, the powder, and the screen are Knurl's own.
Why is there no Buy button?
This page is a catalog sketch. Samples go through mail — write [email protected] and we will send one if a run is open.
What happens when I prefer reduced motion?
Lines appear fully drawn with no stroke animation. Clear still blanks the panel, without the invert flash.
